We started by inventing our own ice cream machine — the only one of its kind that can churn the freshest, creamiest scoop in 90 seconds. Then we made sure our ingredients are just as fresh. Everything from our ice cream bases and cone batter, to sauces and cookies are made from scratch using only unprocessed, real, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
We invented a new way to make ice cream because we know it tastes best when it’s made fresh, not pulled in huge tubs off the freezer shelf months later. We proudly bake, blanche, caramelize, chop, drizzle, glaze, hull, knead, peel, puree, sift, simmer, steep, strain, toast, whip, whisk and zest in our commissary kitchen in San Francisco. Then, each and every scoop and pint of ice cream is fresh-churned in micro-batches at our nearby shops, not in a factory. We put such tremendous effort in with one purpose in mind: to allow the intensity and purity of the flavor and the unparalleled texture shine through!
We believe ice cream ingredient labels should be 100% clean and easy to read. That means no 3 syllable words, no letter “x”s, no gums, no fillers and no chemicals or potential carcinogens (looking at you Red 40). Zero zilch nada. Just pure, clean, magnificently fresh flavors.

- Our milk and cream are sourced from pasture-grazed cows living the good life at nearby Clover Sonoma family farms.
- All of our produce is sustainably grown, organic or pesticide-free.
- All ingredients that can be sourced from the Bay Area area.
- We are one of the few ice cream companies making our own ice cream base in-house from scratch.
- We are the only ice cream company that we know of making our ice cream and inclusions in-house daily.
