We brought over 1000lbs of dry ice to the desert and lived to tell the tale.
Cruising out to Indio with a van packed to the brim with coolers of provisions, we couldn’t help asking ourselves, “What the HELL are we doing?” This was it – our very first festival, ever, and we were kicking it off churning scoops in the VIP Rose Garden! NBD.
Set up alongside Superba Food + Bread, our neighbors at The Point, and crushing burgers from Cassell’s for lunch and dinner daily, we powered through some hot days and nights of serving some seriously hungry (and dusty) festivalgoers. We debuted our first booze-infused flavor, Sam’s Whiskey Chip, and fed the masses some of our tried-and-true flavors like Strawberry White Balsamic, Salted Caramel, and Cookie Dough with Pretzels & Chocolate Chips.
We tried (and failed) to play it real cool when The Weeknd – and his fresh hairdo- ordered a scoop of Whiskey Chip and couldn’t stop staring when Karlie Kloss and her squad rolled in from the Sahara Tent (she’s even taller in person, if you can believe it.)
And though it took a while to get the last pieces of desert dust out from the gears of the Brrr machine, we’re already feeling nostalgic for our time spent at Coachella. Til next year, fam.
